Dr. Deborah Karrah
Dr. Deborah Karrah is an experienced educator (Administrator and Learning Support Teacher) who is a Structured Literacy specialist and Certified Orton-Gillingham instructor. She provides school division professional learning sessions that focus on the foundational literacy skills of phonological awareness and phonics development. In her private practice, she offers reading as well as writing remediation for children who have dyslexia and dysgraphia. For the past three years, Dr. Karrah has also been collaborating with Harvard University in a research study on an innovative dyslexia screening technology developed by a multi-disciplinary team in Greece.
