About the Session:

The NRLC will  host a First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Advisory Committee for stakeholders from school jurisdictions and local service providers as well as community partners to  gather and share plans, goals, initiatives, training, and other information. If you represent regional or provincial partners please consider joining us to share ideas and create stronger relationships within the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit communities.

About the Presenter(s):
Sandra Ciurysek

Sandra Ciurysek, the Executive Director for the Northwest Regional Learning Consortium (NRLC). She holds a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta.  Sandra is a former elementary school principal, and high school English teacher. She has taught various subjects from K-12, led the student services department of K-6 school and has a passion for education. She is experienced in delivering adult learning, teacher professional development and is an advocate for lifelong learning. Sandra is a longtime resident of the Peace Country and lives in Berwyn, Alberta.

This learning opportunity is being provided through funding from Alberta Education.
Catering is not prepared in a nut/gluten-free environment.
