All youth need to learn about sexual health, and healthy relationships. “The talk” is often awkward for parents, especially when your child has a developmental disability. Parents worry about giving too much information or that their child will not understand. This session will give you an introductory overview of teaching sexual health to children with developmental disabilities. Tips and resources for teaching about consent and healthy relationships will be provided.
