Join us for information and conversation on what qualities and skills are required to be an Administrator and Leader of Learning in a school. Discussions will cover characteristics of a lead learner, instructional leadership and accountability of school administrators in Alberta.

Sandra Ciurysek, the Executive Director for the Northwest Regional Learning Consortium (NRLC). She holds a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Sandra is a former elementary school principal, and high school English teacher. She has taught various subjects from K-12, led the student services department of K-6 school and has a passion for education. She is experienced in delivering adult learning, teacher professional development and is an advocate for lifelong learning. Sandra is a longtime resident of the Peace Country and lives in Berwyn, Alberta.
