About the Session:

"Caregivers and professionals alike understand the challenges that can occur as a result of trauma. But many are unsure of how to best support those who have experienced trauma and toxic stress. Participants of this two - part series will: Understand how and why CPS is a trauma - informed practice.

Learn the key factors that contribute to the ability to successfully build capacity and increase lagging skills in those who have experienced trauma.

Understand the key differences between the motivation deficit paradigm and the skills deficit paradigm that the CPS model is founded on.

Increase confidence and skills by practicing the CPS steps, including applying the principles to case studies".

Kent Hollingsworth, M.A., CSFT is a Certified Solution-Focused Therapist and Supervisor, and has provided Grief & Loss training to Victim/Witness Services, School Divisions, faith and community settings, and Crisis Response Teams.
