About the Session:

AUDIENCE: K-12 classroom teachers are encouraged to attend.

Teaching oracy skills (speaking/listening) is as important as teaching literacy (reading/writing), and they should go hand-in-hand. In this session, you will learn about scaffolding strategies, blended learning techniques, gamification ideas, and tech tools to help multilingual learners SWRL (speak, write, read, listen) and soar into content and language.

About the Presenter(s):
Esther Park

is a former high school teacher of multi-lingual learners, an adjunct online instructor training up future teachers of English language learners, and an instructional designer and virtual instruction innovator creating learning experience and course content for K-12 and adult learners. Esther's passion is to empower all learners to reach their full potential through innovative digital content, technology integration, and active learning.
