Session Location:
Online
About the Session:

English language learners, like all students, have the opportunity to choose pathways that reflect their individual strengths, needs, and interests. Although research reveals that learning a second or third language provides many benefits, some English language learners continue to be exempted from participating in FI programs. As the numbers of ELLs wanting to access FI increases, it is important to reflect on how to offer these students this opportunity.

Key topics:

  • Debunking the myths
  • Strategies to support ELLs in FI programs
  • Practical steps for school administrators to consider
