The NRLC will host a First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Advisory Committee for stakeholders from school jurisdictions and authorities as well as local service providers and community partners to gather and share plans, goals, initiatives, training, and other information surrounding Ingidenous Education. If you represent a school division, school authority, regional or provincial partners please consider joining us to share ideas and create stronger relationships within the First Nations, Metis, and Inuit education communities

Sandra Ciurysek, the Executive Director for the Northwest Regional Learning Consortium (NRLC). She holds a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Sandra is a former elementary school principal, and high school English teacher. She has taught various subjects from K-12, led the student services department of K-6 school and has a passion for education. She is experienced in delivering adult learning, teacher professional development and is an advocate for lifelong learning. Sandra is a longtime resident of the Peace Country and lives in Berwyn, Alberta.
