About the Session:

Teaching during the current COVID-19 pandemic has brought with it significant challenges with steep learning curves for teachers trying to engage learners in a new reality. However, the emergent need has brought with it some incredible learning that can serve to strengthen our future practices! Join Kathleen as she moderates a panel of current teachers, sharing their challenges, their innovations and what they have learned through the process that will have a positive impact on their practice moving forward.

About the Presenter(s):
Kathleen Robertson

Kathleen Robertson joins Jigsaw Learning with more than 20 years of teaching experience and has successfully led literacy intervention, assessment and coaching in her own school also providing support to other schools when planning and designing their implementation of a comprehensive literacy framework. Her expertise in literacy has been developed through her roles as a classroom teacher, participant as a lead teacher on a literacy committee and most recently in her role as instructional and literacy coach at the Elementary level.
