The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program is a safe, nonharmful behavior management system designed to help educators provide the best Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of confrontational, disruptive, or potentially out-of-control students, even during their most violent moments.
This course consists of TWO components; an ONLINE and a CLASSROOM component.
Online course instruction can typically be completed in 2-3 hours, and must be done in advance of the classroom portion.
The one-day classroom portion will follow successful completion of the online component.
Once registered for the NVCI FLEX training, you will receive an automated email containing a link that will allow you to access the online portion to be completed prior to the classroom portion.

Mike Heckbert is a Psychologist with Peace Collaborative Services (PCS). PCS serves Northwest Alberta with a team of specialists that supports staff and students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 participate fully in their educational programs and achieve their maximum learning potential.
Crystal Gaede has worked for the Grande Prairie Public School district for over 10 years. She is currently an Educational Programmer on the Inclusive Education Team and works to support students and teachers across the district through PCS.
