About the Session:

Join Michele in a 3 hour session to explore, investigate and familiarize yourself with new curriculum.

Session Outcomes

    1. Explore the differences between a Knowledge Skills and Attitude (KSA) curriculum and a curriculum focussed on conceptual understanding. (Our new curriculum)
    2. Investigate the idea of conceptual understanding and how to teach for it
    3. Familiarize yourself with the architecture and design of the new curriculum
    4. Take a guided tour of the New Learn Alberta website

Michele Jones

Michele  is the lead consultant for curriculum implementation and wellness education for the Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium. Michele’s work involves supporting schools, school authorities and our seven partner organizations in transforming teaching and learning with a focus on student achievement. Her depth and breadth of knowledge combined with her work in multiple contexts and her contagious energy make her a great choice for leading professional learning opportunities.
