NRLC offers professional learning opportunities for all K-12 educators, parents, and community members. These learning opportunities may be in person, by electronic or online means, or a combination thereof. Please see the specific delivery details of each learning opportunity as posted. NRLC does not pay the cost of participant fees or travel required to attend a learning opportunity.
NRLC encourages pre-registration online for all learning opportunities (unless otherwise stated) at least 10 days prior to the delivery date. NRLC reserves the right to turn away participants who have not pre-registered and walk in on the delivery date due to capacities.
Payment will be accepted by NRLC by way of credit card online, cheque, or pay later option such as invoice.
(FOIPP/PIPEDA Information Release) By submission of your online registration, participants should understand that their names and or electronic contact information will be included in a participants’ group list, as compiled by NRLC, available to the presenter(s) and or participants of this workshop. As well, any online comments or evaluations may be recorded and used for evaluation or development purposes.
Photographs, silhouettes and other reproductions of session and participants may be captured during a learning opportunity for future reporting purposes. When needed, Model Release forms will be provided at the learning opportunity.
Your personal and school information is for exclusive use of NRLC as a means to contact you about registered and upcoming programs, feedback and needs assessment.
NRLC does not use your information for anything other than learning opportunities we provide, or resources developed. In addition, NRLC does not share or sell this information to any other organization, unless with your explicit permission.
Participant Payment Policy
Registrations will be accepted and processed by NRLC online. All registrations should be paid prior to the date of the session; or we must receive arrangements for direct billing at time of registration.
Please note: (a) all payments are in Canadian Funds; (b) secure online payment by credit card is available; (c) your printable or emailed invoice confirmation is your credit card receipt; (d) receipts for individual cheques will be emailed to the payer named; (e) GST does not apply to registration fees.
NRLC Cancellation and Refund Policy:
NRLC has a ten-day pre-registration planning requirement for all workshops. NRLC reserves the right to cancel any pending learning opportunity, including single workshops, session or series. Please register early to help us determine numbers for workshops. Any program not meeting minimum registration numbers will be cancelled. Cancellation notice will be sent to known participants by email. Any refunds will be made in the same format in which we received and processed payment.
Participant Cancellation and Refund Policy:
NRLC requires at least five (5) days notice of cancellation from participants to avoid any applicable registration fees for all learning opportunities, unless otherwise stated. If you cannot give adequate notice you will be charged all applicable registration fees. Non-attendance or no-show will result in applicable registration fees being processed.
If you cannot give this notice, you are encouraged to send someone in your place. This alternate person will need to provide registration information at the session. Non-attendance because of an emergency reason will be taken into consideration based on individual contact with NRLC.
Any refunds will be made in the same format in which we received and processed payment.
