CASS/Alberta Education Concurrent Sessions

Based on positive interest identified in the recent survey about offering the LQS Certification In-service “B” at the conference, we are anticipating that concurrent sessions will include a focus on the needs of Chief Superintendents.  Current sessions approved by the Professional Learning Advisory Committee include:

• CASS 2018 Indigenous Teacher Survey Findings focused on Teacher recruitment and retention
• The 4 Essential Roles of Leadership
• Superintendency and the Law: A Primer of “must” Legal Issues
• Legal overview of Harassment Investigation Protocols and Case Law
• Leading for Inclusion
• Healthy Students and Educators
• Supporting a Focus on Mental Wellbeing Across Alberta School Authorities

If you are not attending the In-Service session, you will receive a follow up link to register for the sessions you would like to attend once the sessions have been finalized.
