Northern Lakes Collaborative Services (NLCS) and Peace Collaborative Services (PCS) are working in partnership to present a four day workshop series on Complex Communication Needs. This workshop is pleased to have Kathy Howery as a keynote speaker for the first session and the consecutive sessions will be presented by service providers from NLCS and PCS. Sessions will build on each other.
The format will be a mix of theory and practical, hands-on activities. Participants will be given a variety of practical resources and materials, and will be invited into a group to continue to share questions and expertise about working with and educating children and youths with Complex Communication Needs.
Each day will be on a different topic and will build upon knowledge gained on previous days. Topics to be covered may vary slightly based on feedback from participants.

- How do I use an alternative/ augmented communication system?
- What sorts of IPP goals are appropriate for these students?
- Aided language stimulation
